I personally have obtained amazing results treating xerostomia (dry mouth), loss of taste, and loss of smell using a similar protocol as reported here. "This study is the largest reported randomised trial of acupuncture for the amelioration of radiation induced xerostomia in patients treated for head and neck cancer.
