Xiu Zhen Tu, or Cultivation of True Elixir Diagram, complements the Inner Circulation Diagram. The two together provide a road map and a guide for the cultivation of Nei Dan, or Inner Elixir. Xiu Zhen Tu describes in detail the internal organs central to the practice, and relates it to circadian rhythms and the oracular images of I Ching trigrams. It is an integration of the dynamics of human life with space and time. We will use it as our guide in our continuing Nei Dan practice.
