The head, like the hand, foot, and ear, is a micro-system that can be used to treat diseases affected all parts of the body. In scalp acupuncture, needles are inserted within a thin layer of loose tissue between the scalp and the skull. Done with proper technique, it is very comfortable and extremely safe since there are no organs to puncture.

I use some scalp points regularly in many treatments. In treating neurological disorders like neuropathy, hemiplegia or aphasia, it becomes the main treatment.
